Panna is a popular national park of Madhya Pradesh which is spread in an overall area of around 542.67 sq. km. It is located in the south- east direction of Chhatarpur district. This park is also recognized as a national Tiger reserve by the Government of India in the year 1981. Ken is a beautiful river flowing through this park and there are many waterfalls as well on the valley.

Flora and Fauna
Panna National Park is very popular for a wide variety of flora and fauna reserves available over here. At this park, you can find various species such as leopards, antelope and deer. Located at banks of Kin River, this is a beautiful national park offering shelter to wide number of wild animals. You can find wild tigers and leopards moving over here freely. Apart from wild animals, you can also find here some rare species of snakes, birds and leopards.
Raneh Falls
It is also a very famous waterfall which is emerged at the spot where Ken and Khuddar rivers converge with each other. Name of this waterfall is derived from King Rane Pratap who has ruled this region earlier. Surrounding to this beautiful national park, Raneh falls offer a pleasing treat to all the travelers.
Ken Gharial Sanctuary
This sanctuary was founded just to conserve the very old and rare species of Indian Gharials. Tourists feel delighted to visit this park as they get to view these rare species of animals. However, they are allowed to make a visit at this place only from sunrise to sunset.
Mahamati Prannathji Temple
It is another vital pilgrimage centre of Pranamis and this is the reason why there are several devotees visiting this temple during the time of Sharada Purnima. It is a belief of the people that Mahamati Prannathji resided at this place for a period of around 11 years and took Samadhi in one of the domes over here.
Pandav caves and fall
Pandav caves are also situated in Panna national park at the distance of around 12 km from main Panna city. These falls are very closely situated to the national highway and were formed out of local springs which were emerging. Waterfalls over here are filled completely with water for most of the year.
Gatha waterfalls
These are amongst the highest waterfalls of India. Most of the tourists coming here get attracted with the wonderful sight which you can view over here. If you really wish to enjoy a calm and peaceful environment for some time, it is a great place to visit.
