Anjuna Beach

This is the one which is said to be really famous and is the one located very close to Chapora Fort. It was during the time of 1960s and 1970s that this place was a home for a lot of hippies and party people staying in Goa. Close to this is a village Arpora where you can shop for many things at the night bazaars held on Saturdays but only in the monsoon seasons.

Calangute Beach

It is this beach which is known as the queen of all the beaches that exist here. You can take a look at various beautiful coconut and palm grooves. This is the beach which will offer you a lot water sports which are just the best. Here you can also enjoy wind surfing, water ski, parasailing and paragliding. You can further enjoy the sun and sand at the beach when you go towards the southern side of this beach. This is because it is a cool hawker free zone there.

Archeological Museum of Goa

Located in old Goa is one of the most prominent museums built in the year 1964. It was because of the initiative taken by Archeological Survey of India (ASI). Earlier this museum was known to be the convent of St Francis of Assisi.

Goa State Museum

It is worth having a look at because here are the many wealthy collections of ancient Goan sculptures and also arts.
